Dry in the east then unsettled

With plenty of warm weather about, it is likely to set off quite a few showers across the United Kingdom and in particular, France into Belgium, Germany and western Germany where the rain may become more prolonged. Still very unsettled across Iberia today with plenty of heavy showers with scattered thunderstorms. This will extend up across The Alps as well into the far north of Italy. Fine and sunny across the Balearics into the rest of Italy, Greece, western Turkey and the former Yugoslavia. Heavy showers will continue across eastern parts of Turkey. A band of rain clears eastern Norway and moves across northern Sweden into parts of Finland. Fine, sunny weather is to prevail from eastern Germany across into Poland, The Baltic States, Russia and Belarus. Settle and dry as well for Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary.

Not as warm across Europe today. An area of rain will lie from England across into Holland, northern Germany and Poland with some of it locally heavy. Very unsettled and showery across France, Belgium and southern Germany today and some of these will be heavy with a risk of thunder. An area of very heavy, thundery rain will affect Portugal and western Spain. Fine and sunny weather is to prevail across eastern Spain into the Balearic, into Italy and Greece. Some heavy showers will affect Turkey, these mainly in the east. Showers and thunderstorms are likely today across the Alpine Region. Lots of sunshine and just a few showers today across the former Yugoslavia, Hungary and Bulgaria. A fine, dry and mostly sunny day across Belarus into the Baltic States and Russia. Dry and fine as well across Norway, Sweden and Denmark but rain will fall across Finland.
