High pressure will give lots of fine, dry and sunny weather to the United Kingdom and this will extends across northern France, The Low Countries, Holland, Denmark, northern and central Germany and Poland. A number of showers will affect southern parts of France and Germany today. Some of these will be heavy with a risk of thunder. Showers too develop across eastern parts of Spain today. For Portugal and western Spain expect a fine, dry day. Just a few showers around the Balearics today while plenty of showers are forecast across Italy into the former Yugoslavia and northern Greece. Southern parts of Greece will be sunny and dry. Heavy showers to continue across the Alpine Region today and across into Romania. Showery rain is expected across Bulgaria and Hungary today. Lots of fine sunshine across Turkey and feeling warm. Rain will affect northern pats of Sweden with heavier rain for Finland. For Norway, southern Sweden, the Baltic States, Belarus and Russia it looks fine and dry with sunny spells.

Pleasantly warm today across much of Europe. High pressure is going to keep much of northern Europe settled as well. Morning cloud across the United Kingdom will thin to afternoon sunshine. Lots of sunshine to come across northern France into the Low Counties into Holland, Denmark, Germany and Poland. Lots of heavy showers will again develop across central and southern France, the Alpine Region and across Italy with a rumble of thunder. A dry sunny day today for Iberia and across into the Balearics. Plenty of showers will affect the former Yugoslavia with scattered showers as well across inland parts of Greece. Largely s=dry and mostly sunny today for Hungary, Bulgaria up into the Ukraine, Belarus, the Baltic States and much of Scandinavia. An area of rain will be pushing across Russia.
