Sunny across Scandinavia
Today
Pleasantly warm today across much of Europe. High pressure is going to keep much of northern Europe settled as well. Morning cloud across the United Kingdom will thin to afternoon sunshine. Lots of sunshine to come across northern France into the Low Counties into Holland, Denmark, northern Germany and Poland. Just a few afternoon showers will develop in the south of Germany. Lots of dry, sunny weather will be found across France, with scattered showers across the Alpine Region and across Italy with a rumble of thunder. A dry sunny day today for Iberia and across into the Balearics. Plenty of showers will affect the former Yugoslavia with a few scattered showers as well across inland parts of Greece. Largely dry and mostly sunny today for Hungary, Bulgaria up into the Ukraine, Belarus, the Baltic States and much of Scandinavia. An area of heavy showers is forecast for Turkey.
Saturday
The fine, settled weather is set to continue across central and eastern parts of Europe on Saturday. Just a few showers will be found across the United Kingdom and northern France, An area of light rain will affect Belgium into Holland and central parts of France and later western Germany. Fine and dry for eastern Germany, Poland, Belarus, The Baltic Sates into Russia with plenty of sunshine expected. This dry weather also will be found across all of Scandinavia. Some heavy, thundery showers are forecast for northern parts of Spain and south west France in the afternoon. The rest of Spain into the Balearics looks fine and sunny. Not too many showers today across Italy and more in the way of sunshine. Lots of showers though across the former Yugoslavia, Greece and Turkey with a risk of thunder as well.
