High pressure will give eastern parts of Europe a fine, summery day. Lots of warm sunshine will be found across Germany, the Baltic States into Poland, Russia and Belarus. Rain is forecast for western Norway and northern Finland with a few showers across Sweden and Denmark. Some good sunny spells here as well. It's a day of sunny spells and scattered showers for the United Kingdom, Belgium, Holland and northern France. Heavy outbreaks of thundery rain will affect southern France, Spain and Italy along with Switzerland and Austria. Just a few showers today across Portugal and the Balearics. A dry, sunny day today across Hungary with sunny spells and a few showers across the former Yugoslavia, Greece and Turkey.

The fine, settled weather is set to continue across central and eastern parts of Europe on Monday. Fine and dry for eastern Germany, Poland, Belarus, The Baltic Sates into Russia with plenty of sunshine expected. An area of heavy rain will push into the United Kingdom, France and northern Spain with southern Spain and the Balearics fair and dry. Lots of heavy, thundery showers and prolonged spells of rain will persist today across Italy and the Alpine Region. More rain to come across western parts of Norway and northern Finland with the rest of Scandinavia fine and dry. Plenty of dry, sunny weather continues across the Baltic States, Russia into Poland, Belarus and the Ukraine. Just a few scattered showers are expected across Greece, Hungary and Bulgaria with frequent, heavy showers across Turkey today.
