Warm, sunny for eastern Europe, further thundery showers across Italy
Today
The fine, settled weather is set to continue across central and eastern parts of Europe on Wednesday. Fine and dry for eastern Germany, Poland, Belarus, The Baltic Sates into Russia with plenty of sunshine expected. Temperatures in the mid twenties across Poland. Western Germany will be cloudy with rain. An area of heavy rain will push into the United Kingdom by evening after a dry, sunnier day. Lots of showers across France and northern Spain with central and southern Spain and the Balearics fair and dry with sunny skies. Heavy, thundery showers and prolonged spells of rain will persist today across northern Italy and the Alpine Region. Fine and sunny in the south of Italy today. More rain to come across western parts of Norway but fine across Finland, Sweden and eastern Norway. Just a few scattered showers are expected across Greece, Hungary and Bulgaria with frequent, heavy showers across Turkey today.

For England, western France and northern Spain expect outbreaks of rain with eastern France and the rest of Iberia remaining fine and dry. Eastern and southern parts of France will be fine and dry while an area of rain and showers will stretch from the Low Counties into Holland, central Germany southward across Romania into the former Yugoslavia. Drier with just a few showers today across the Alpine Region but further heavy showers with scattered thunderstorms will affect Italy. Lots of fine , dry and sunny weather to come across Greece and Turkey. More unsettled with rain and showers forecast across Hungary into Bulgaria. The warm, sunny weather continues across Poland, Belarus, Russia and much of Scandinavia.
