Dry but becoming chilly across Spain

Today
Gales and heavy rain will affect the United Kingdom today and heavy rain is also expected across France, Belgium and Holland with light rain reaching western Germany later. Snow is forecast across Norway but a dry, albeit mostly cloudy day for Sweden and Finland but a few sunnier spells too. Colder across eastern Europe but dry for eastern Germany, Poland, the Baltic States and Russia. Temperatures will be just about near the freezing mark across Russia today. Windy with rain across northern parts of Spain today while the south is sunny and pleasantly warm. Fine and sunny too weather will prevail across the Balearics into Italy, the former Yugoslavia, Greece, Bulgaria and Romania while it looks quite wet across Turkey all day. Cold but dry and sunny across the Ukraine into Belarus.

Windy and showery across the United Kingdom today. Outbreaks of rain and showers are expected across France with persistent and heavy rain across Germany and southern Sweden. Cold with freezing rain and snow across Norway and northern Sweden. Dry across Finland but rather cloudy and windy. High pressure will give Poland, The Baltic States, much of western Russia, Belarus and the Ukraine a dry, bright day with sunny spells. Lots of sunshine too will be found across Romania and Hungary. Showers and rain will persist across Turkey. A breezy, cooler but dry day across Iberia. Outbreaks of rain will fall across Italy into the former Yugoslavia today with heavy snow likely across the Alpine Region.
