Cold and showery, some of those showers heavy in places

Thursday
Showers affecting the north of Spain today. For the rest of Portugal and Spain the day is going to be dry with sunny spells. Heavy showers are going to be affecting France, and these may merge into longer spells of rain. Heavy showers across the Low Countries and Germany as well as Poland. Austria will be cloudy with showers, but Hungary and Switzerland will be dry with sunny spells.
To the south Italy is going to have a mix of sunny spells and showers. The showers are likely to be heavy at times. More persistent rain across southern Italy. Greece is going to be dry with sunny spells and it should be dry over Turkey and Cyprus as well. Bulgaria and Romania will have some cloud and showers.
Cloud and rain as well as strong winds for the Baltic States, with cloud and rain to the southwest of Finland. The rest of Finland will be cloudy and dry as well as breezy. Cloud and wind for central and southern Sweden, whilst the north is going to be dry with sunny spells. Cloud and some showers for Denmark whist Norway will be dry with sunny spells.

Friday
Cloud and some rain over northwest Spain and Portugal. Eastern and southern areas of Spain will be dry with sunny spells. France will be dry with sunny spells, although cloud and outbreaks of rain will be spreading into the west. There will be sunny spells and showers over the Low Countries and Germany as well as Poland. Austria and Hungary have sunny spells and scattered showers whilst Switzerland is going to be dry with sunny spells.
Low pressure centred over Italy will be bringing showers, some of them heavy at times. Cloud and rain across the far south of Italy. Greece and Turkey will be dry with sunny spells. Cloud and some spots of drizzle across Bulgaria and Romania.
The Baltic States will be cloudy with outbreaks of rain. Finland should be dry and breezy. Sweden is going to be cloudy with some showery bursts of rain. Denmark has heavy periods of rain and showers. Norway will have showers with a few bright or sunny spells.
