Warmest across southern Spain

Today
Heavy rain accompanied by gales will affect the United Kingdom and northern France today but dry in central and southern areas. Rain too will push into north west Spain but for the rest of Iberia it's a dry day with varying cloud and sunnier spells. A cloudy, wet day too for Belgium, Holland and Denmark with rain across eastern parts of Germany. Large a dry day for Poland with lightish rain across the Baltic States, Belarus and the Ukraine. Heavier rain mixed with sleet will affect western Russia. Cold across Scandinavia with snow showers for Norway but dry with sunny spells across Sweden and Finland. Just a few light showers today across parts of Italy while it's a fine, sunny day across Greece, western Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary.

Strong winds and rain will persist across England and much of the United Kingdom today with severe gales. Gales are also expected across northern France and across Norway. Outbreaks of heavy rain across France, Belgium and Holland in the morning will clear to showers ands this rain spread into Denmark, Germany, the Alpine Region and Sweden. Across Norway the rain will fall as snow over the hills. A dry but cloudy day to come across Finland and the Baltic States. Dr today with lots of sunshine from Belarus into Poland, the Ukraine, Hungary and Romania while rain will fall across Russia. Rather wet across Portugal and northern Spain with rain but fair and dry for central and southern Spain into the Balearic. Largely dry across Italy with good sunny spells across Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey.
