Unsettled with rain, snow in east

Today
Windy and showery across the United Kingdom today. Outbreaks of rain and showers are expected across France with persistent and heavy rain across Germany and southern Sweden. Cold with freezing rain and snow across Norway and northern Sweden. Dry across Finland but rather cloudy and windy. High pressure will give Poland, The Baltic States, much of western Russia, Belarus and the Ukraine a dry, bright day with sunny spells. Lots of sunshine too will be found across Romania and Hungary. Showers and rain will persist across Turkey. A breezy, cooler but dry day across Iberia. Outbreaks of rain will fall across Italy into the former Yugoslavia today with heavy snow likely across the Alpine Region.

Quite a windy, blustery day across much of Europe with the mildest weather in the west and the coldest temperatures in the east. Lots of heavy, blustery showers to come across the United Kingdom today while an area of heavy rain falls across Denmark, Germany, Holland and Belgium. Outbreaks of snow are expected across Norway and northern Sweden with southern Sweden and Finland cold but dry with sunny spells. Cold, sunny weather is also forecast for western Russia into the Baltic States, Poland, Belarus and the Ukraine. Heavy rain and snow is expected across Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria along with the former Yugoslavia while it's sunshine and showers for Greece. Heavy rain is expected to move into western Turkey. Southern parts of Italy will catch a few showers while the north is dry and mostly sunny. Fine, dry and mostly sunny across Iberia today with the south of Spain quite warm.
