Today
Wet and windy weather spreads in across the United Kingdom today. A lot of cloud today across France and the north of Spain with a few spots of light rain. Sunnier and dry for southern Spain and Portugal. A cloudy but dry day to come for Belgium and Holland while it looks overcast with rain across Denmark, Germany into Poland, Belarus and western Russia. Outbreaks of heavy snow are expected across the Baltic States and across northern Finland. Much of southern Finland, Sweden and Norway will be cold but dry. Lots of fine, dry and sunny weather will extend from the Balearics across into Italy, the former Yugoslavia into Bulgaria and Greece. Heavy showers will affect Turkey today with a dry, sunny day for Hungary. Dry as well for Romania but rather cloudy.

Heavy rain accompanied by gales will affect the United Kingdom and northern France today but dry in central and southern areas. Rain too will push into north west Spain but for the rest of Iberia it's a dry day with varying cloud and sunnier spells. A cloudy, wet day too for Belgium, Holland and Denmark with rain across eastern parts of Germany. Large a dry day for Poland with lightish rain across the Baltic States, Belarus and the Ukraine. Heavier rain mixed with sleet will affect western Russia. Cold across Scandinavia with snow showers for Norway but dry with sunny spells across Sweden and Finland. Just a few light showers today across parts of Italy while it's a fine, sunny day across Greece, western Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary.
