Windy through northern Europe, the best of the sunshine to the south
Tuesday
Broken cloud and a few showers over the northwest of Portugal and northern Spain. To the south it will be dry with sunny spells and will be feeling warmer too. A few showers for southern and central France, but fair to the north with sunny spells here. There will be a few showers over the Low Countries and northern Germany. The south of Germany and southern Poland will be cloudier with the chance of some drizzle here. Austria and Hungary will have broken cloud and dry conditions with Switzerland being dry too.
Low pressure over Italy brings sunny spells but also the threat of some showers. The showers could be heavy over high ground. A threat of showers forming across the high ground of Greece too, and again these could be heavy. Mainly dry for Cyprus and Turkey with some sunny spells here. To the north Bulgaria and Romania should be dry with sunny spells.
The Baltic States will be rather cloudy with showers or longer spells of rain and sleet. These spreading into Finland. More cloud and showery bursts of rain across the north of Norway and Sweden. A few showers and some sunny spells through Denmark.
Wednesday
A dry and fine day through Portugal and Spain. Lots of sunshine here and it will be staying dry as well. The high pressure extends into France with some sunshine here and dry too, although along northern coasts of France it will be breezy. Staying breezy through the Low Countries and northern Germany and dry here with sunny spells. Fair in Poland with sunny spells. Cloud with some spots of drizzle over Hungary and Austria. Dry for Switzerland with sunny spells and mild too.
High pressure extends into Italy as well, bringing dry weather and sunny spells here. Dry across Greece and Turkey with more sunshine. Dry with some sunshine for Bulgaria and southern Romania, although cloud and rain to the north.
More cloud and some showers through the Baltic States, with cloud and some outbreaks of rain in Finland. A breezy day to come across Sweden with cloud and rain through central and northern areas, rain across much of Norway, heavy at times. Windy and mild in Denmark but probably dry apart from some drizzle on western coasts.
