Warmest in southern Iberia

More heavy rain and gales will affect the United Kingdom today and this area of rain spreads in across northern France, Belgium and Holland and Denmark. In fact most of northern Europe looks wet with spells of rain expected across Finland, western Russia. The Baltic States, Poland, Belarus, Sweden, Denmark and Belarus. For Norway it's a colder day with rain and snow mixed. High pressure will give the Ukraine, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey and the former Yugoslavia a dry day of sunny spells. A dry day as well across Portugal. Spain, southern France and Italy with lots of sunshine. Overall it's a rather chilly few days across Europe with the warmest weather still to be found across southern Spain.

Still windy across northern Europe. Rain clears southern England with rain forecast across France, Belgium, Holland, Denmark, into Germany, Sweden, Finland, western Russia, The Baltic States and Belarus. This looks heaviest across the Low Countries, Sweden and northern Germany today. Cold across Norway with outbreaks of snow and snow showers will also affect the north of Finland. As high pressure maintains, it looks dry from the Ukraine into Romania, Hungary, Greece and Turkey. Lots of dry, sunny weather too will be found across the former Yugoslavia into Italy through the Alpine Region into the Balearics and Spain.
