Wet for Spain and Portugal, cold weather dominates the north

Sunday
Rain for Portugal and the north of Spain today. It should be dry through more central and eastern areas with some good spells of sunshine here. Cloud and some outbreaks of rain affect southern parts of France. Central and northern areas should be brighter with sunny spells and dry too. Some wintry showers affecting the Low Countries and northern Germany, with snow showers too across Poland. Fair for Hungary but snow showers in Austria and Switzerland.
Bright and mainly dry through Italy, a few showers here and there. Cloud and some rain in northern Greece, this turning to snow. A few showers in southern Turkey but cloud and rain to the north. More cloud and some wintry showers through Bulgaria and Romania.
Cold with some wintry showers in the Baltic States with snow later in the day over Finland. Cloudy with some snow for northern Norway and Sweden, although the south should be dry with some sunshine, this extending through Denmark too.

Monday
Low pressure brings cloud and rain through Iberia, with strong winds to the south of Spain and Portugal too. Cloud and some outbreaks of rain over central and southern France, but to the north it will be brighter and colder. Chilly across the Low Countries and Germany, although there will be some sunshine across Poland and it should be dry. A fair day over Hungary and Austria with cloud and some snow over Switzerland.
Cloud and outbreaks of rain across northern Italy, but to the south there will be cloud and some outbreaks of rain. High pressure brings fine weather through Greece and Turkey with some mist and fog to contend with through Bulgaria and Romania, but staying cold here.
Snow showers through the Baltic States with more persistent snow over Finland. Snow too across the northern half of Sweden and Norway, whilst to the south it should be dry and bright. A few snow flurries through Denmark.
