Today
Mild, wet and windy but mild across The United Kingdom with heavy rain. Heavy rain will also affect France, northern Spain and later Belgium. Dry across southern parts of Iberia. Dry as well across Holland, Germany and the Alpine Region with some sunshine. Light snow is forecast for Denmark, Norway and Sweden with heavy snow across Finland. A dry day to come across Russia, The Baltic States and Belarus but very cold. Outbreaks of light snow will persist across Poland, The Ukraine and the former Yugoslavia. Fair and dry today across Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. Outbreaks of rain will continue across Greece and Turkey today. Dry across the Balearics into Italy.

A better day across England today with a dry, mostly sunny day. More rain to come across France today but brightening and drying up later in the day. Heavy rain to come across western Germany with snow for eastern Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Belarus and the Ukraine. Some heavy accumulations are possible. Cold but mainly dry today across Finland and western Russia along with the Baltic States. Heavy snow is forecast across the Alps into Croatia and Serbia with light snow for Bulgaria and Albania. Drier and sunnier today across Greece with rain across western Turkey. A cloudy, wet day across Italy with rain. Lots of cloud and chilly across Portugal and Spain but a dry day and dry across the Balearics as well. Very cold conditions persist across eastern Europe and Scandinavia with a brisk, raw south east wind blowing.
