Rain in the eastern Mediterranean, but bitterly cold and dry to the north

Friday
Cloud and some outbreaks of rain over the far northwest of Spain. Elsewhere there will be fine conditions with sunshine, the best of it to the east and south. Cloud and some outbreaks of rain for more western parts of France, whilst to the east and south it will be drier and brighter. A cold day through the Low Countries and Germany, as well as Poland, some sunny spells but also mist and fog patches. Across Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland there will be dry weather with some mist and fog, this clearing to sunny spells; cold here too.
A foggy day across northern Italy with sunny spells through more central areas. To the south there will be broken cloud, sunny spells and some showers. Low pressure in the Aegean brings cloud and rain here, some of it heavy. More cloud and some snow flurries to come across Bulgaria and Romania.
A very cold day through the Baltic States with fair weather here. very cold too for Finland and Sweden as well as Norway and Denmark where it should be staying dry. The breeze making it feel even colder.

Saturday
A more unsettled day through Spain and Portugal. There could be some rain for Portugal and southern Portugal with a few showers breaking out inland in Spain. A fair day to come across southern and central France, but cloud and some outbreaks of rain to the north. More cloud and outbreaks of showery rain through the Low Countries. A chilly day through Germany and Poland with mist and fog here. A chilly day through Austria, Hungary and Switzerland and dry here too.
A fair day through Italy with mist and fog patches in the morning, these only slowly clearing. Low pressure brings showers through Greece, some of them heavy. More cloud and rain into Crete and Cyprus with snow across central and northern Turkey. A bitterly cold day through Bulgaria and Romania with cloud and some snow flurries.
To the north it is going to be staying bitterly cold. Dry through the Baltic States and Finland, although breezy. Staying dry across Sweden and Denmark but cold as well. Cloud and some sleet and snow showers in the far west of Norway, but dry and cold elsewhere.
