Changeable weather continues across Europe

Friday
High pressure brings a mainly fair day across Portugal and Spain with some good spells of sunshine. There will be cloud around southern coasts of Spain, making the sunshine hazy here. A windy day in France with showers in the west, but also some sunny spells. An unsettled day across the Low Countries with periods of rain here, some of them heavy. Further cloud and outbreaks of rain across Germany and again some of these may be on the heavy side. Further cloud and heavy rain affecting Austria and Hungary with a mix of sunshine and heavy showers in Switzerland.
Low pressure gives rain across Italy, but brighter weather will be following from the west bringing sunny spells. More sunshine and dry weather over Greece and these dry, fair and mainly warm conditions affecting most of Crete, Cyprus and Turkey as well. Remaining dry and bright through Bulgaria and Romania.
Cloud and outbreaks of drizzle and rain for the baltic States, with damp and drizzly weather spreading into Finland. Further cloud and rain spreading north to Sweden with some heavier rain across Denmark and the far south of Norway. More central and northern parts of Norway will be drier and brighter too.

Saturday
A windy and unsettled day to come across Spain and Portugal. The threat of gales in Portugal with the rain being heavy here. Rain too for the west and north of Spain. Further rain across southwest France but dry for most of the country with sunny spells. A few showers across the Low Countries and rather cloudy here. Mild with cloud and some showers through Germany, most of them to the north. Heavy showers in the north of Poland, but dry to the south. Austria and Romania as well as Switzerland will be dry with sunny spells.
A fine day across Italy with plenty of sunshine here and feeling warm as well. Showers across Greece, some of them heavy. Further cloud and some rain across western Turkey. Bulgaria and Romania will have cloud and some showery precipitation, most in the east.
Cloud and rain across the Baltic States, most of them to the west. Finland will have cloud and some outbreaks of rain with the risk of sleet in the east. Far more unsettled across the southern half of Sweden and Norway with some heavy periods of rain, sleet and snow. Brighter for southern Denmark with showers here.
