A bit milder today with heavy spells of rain expected across England, Belgium, Holland and light rain across the north of France. As this area moves east into colder air, heavy snow is forecast across Germany into Denmark. A cold but mainly dry day to come across Norway and Sweden. Another area of snow will persist across Finland into Russia, The Baltic States, Belarus into Poland. Cold but dry and cloudy across the Ukraine today. Sunnier and dry across Hungary and the former Yugoslavia. Largely dry across Romania but snow is expected across Bulgaria and Turkey, some of it heavy. Snow showers too will push into parts of Greece as well. Lots of dry, bright but chilly weather will extend from Spain across the Balearics into the south of France and Italy while heavy snowfall is again likely across the Alps.

Outbreaks of moderate to heavy rain is expected across England, northern France and into Belgium and Holland. For the south of France it remains dry but rather cloudy. Heavy snow is likely across Denmark and Germany and this may affect the south of Norway. Mainly dry for Sweden with lots of cloud. A wide area of locally heavy snow will fall across Finland, Russia, the Baltic States, Belarus into Poland. Just a few snow flurries across the Ukraine. High pressure will keep it dry across Hungary, into the former Yugoslavia, Romania and Bulgaria. A better day across Greece and Turkey with lots of sunshine on offer. Across Iberia it will be a fine, dry and mostly sunny day and this extends across the Balearics into Italy.
