Fair through southern Europe, but more unsettled in the north
Friday
A fair day to come across Portugal and Spain. Good spells of sunshine here thanks to high pressure. A more unsettled picture across France where heavy showers will be rattling in from off the Atlantic. A period of more persistent rain affects eastern France, and this is going to be pushing into the Low Countries too. The rain reaching western Germany later in the day, although eastern Germany stays fair. A breezy day in Poland, but pleasant with sunny spells. A fine day for Hungary, although cloud and some outbreaks of rain affecting Austria and Switzerland.
Cloud and rain across northwest Italy, but more southern areas should be drier.; Greece, Cyprus and Crete should all have dry days and will be sunny. Feeling cold over much of Turkey despite the sunshine. More dry weather over Bulgaria and Romania although it may be foggy here.
To the north the baltic States will be cold but dry with sunny spells. Staying dry across Finland although cold too. A chilly day for Sweden but dry and dry and breezy through Denmark. Some cloud and outbreaks of rain affecting western Norway.
Saturday
Another fine day to come across Spain and Portugal. There will be some good spells of sunshine around, these lasting for most of the day. Low pressure through France will be bringing cloud and rain here, some of it heavy in the northwest. Showers could affect the Low Countries as much colder air pushes into Germany. Poland has a mix of sunshine and wintry showers. Some broken cloud and a few spots of rain through Hungary with Austria dry with sunny spells, and similar weather to come through Switzerland too.
A fair day in northern Italy, but low pressure will be bringing cloud and rain through more central and southern areas. Rain and showers affecting western Greece, but the east should be dry with sunny spells. More sunshine to come through Cyprus and Turkey as well as Crete. To the north Bulgaria and Romania will be largely dry but rather cloudy.
A cold day to come through the Baltic States with some snow flurries here. These snow flurries reaching Finland as well. Fair for most of Sweden with some sunny spells. Very cold through Denmark and southern Norway, but generally dry.
