Snow across Scandinavia
Today
Cold across Britain with rain changing to snow as it moves inland. Rain too across Belgium and Holland with rain clearing France followed by sunnier spells and plenty of showers, some heavy. Rain spreads into Germany as well with some snow in the east for a time. Just a few wintry showers for Norway while light snow fall across Sweden with an area of heavy snow for Finland, The Baltic States and western Russia. Mainly dry today across Belarus but cold. Dry and not so cold today for the Ukraine and Romania. Milder with rain forecast across the former Yugoslavia into Bulgaria. A fair, dry with sunny spells across Greece. Dry across western parts of Turkey but some snow to come in the east. The unsettled weather continues across Iberia with heavy showers across Portugal and rain in Spain. Light rain too is forecast across Italy.
Wednesday
A bit milder across England today with showers and some e rain. An area of heavy rain is likely across France with rain too for The Low Counties into Germany. Just a few showers for western Norway otherwise dry and sunny. Dry as well across Sweden and Finland but staying cold. More snow to come across Russia today with light snow into Denmark as well. A cloudy but dry day in store for the Baltic States, Belarus and Hungary. It's a mix of rain, sleet and snow across Poland today while spells of rain are likely across the Ukraine, Romania, Albania, the former Yugoslavia and Bulgaria. For much of Greece and Turkey expect a mixture of sunshine and showers with a few of them heavy. A number of showers too arte expected across Italy today. Eastern parts of Spain should be dry while occasional heavy showers persists across Portugal and western Spain.
