Changeable weather continues across Europe
Thursday
Cloud, wind and rain affecting Portugal and the north of Spain. More eastern and southern areas are drier with sunny spells. Rain and cloud affecting much of France, this heavy in the west. Drier for more eastern areas with sunshine and showers passing through the Low Countries. Showery rain across Germany, some of this affecting western Poland. A dry day over Austria and Hungary with sunny spells, increasing cloud later in the day across Switzerland.
High pressure bringing a fine day through Italy, with warm weather and good spells of sunshine. A dry day across most of western Greece, but some heavy showers through the Aegean, these affecting northern Crete too. Further heavy showers in Cyprus and southern Turkey with cloud and rain over northern Turkey. Some wintry showers for Bulgaria and Romania.
Cloud and some snow flurries for the Baltic States. Finland should be dry but chilly with some sunny spells. More cloud and rain or sleet across the south of Norway and Sweden with some heavy sleet across Denmark. More northern parts of Norway and Sweden will be dry with sunny spells.
Friday
A fair day on Friday over Portugal and Spain. Becoming warm here with some good spells of sunshine. heavy showers will be affecting France, most of these in western and northern areas and rather windy too. It should be mainly dry to the south with sunny spells here. Windy with rain affecting the Low Countries, this heavy and times and spreading into Germany. More showery rain in western Poland, but dry in the east. Cloud and rain for Austria and Hungary, most of it dry and showery. Dry for Switzerland with sunny spells.
Low pressure brings cloud and rain to much of Italy with most of it affecting northern areas of the country. Lighter rain to the south. A fair day over Greece with sunny spells here, these affecting Crete too. Showers for much of Turkey and Cyprus, some of these heavy at times. A fair day for Bulgaria and Romania although rather cold here with some fog patches.
A much milder day over the baltic States and rather dull here with mist and some drizzle. Drizzly weather too across Finland and rather misty and murky here. The mist and murk affecting Sweden as well with more persistent rain in Denmark and southern Norway.
