Mediterranean enjoying the best of the sunshine, rain to the north
Holiday Monday
Cloud for the far south of Spain today, but generally the day is going to be fine with good spells of sunshine. The sunshine extends through France and it stays dry here as well. Sunshine too across the Low Countries and Germany with the fair weather stretching to Poland. Highs pressure brings yet more sunshine for Hungary, Austria and Switzerland.
The northern half of Italy has a fair day with good spells of sunshine. To the south there will be cloud and showers, or even some longer spells of rain. More showers to come for Greece, but for Turkey the day is going to be fair with some good spells of sunshine here. Dry with sunny spells for most of Bulgaria and Romania, but some cloud and rain in the west.
To the north there will be some sunny spells through the Baltic States and it should be dry, with fair weather in Finland as well. Cloud and some showery rain trouble the south of Norway and Sweden, but the north should be fair with sunny spells.
Tuesday
A fair day to come across much of Portugal and Spain with spells of sunshine. High cloud over eastern Spain and the Balearics bringing hazy spells of sunshine. A fine and warm day across France with more sunshine to come here, and staying dry too. A dry and warm day across the Low Countries too as well as Germany. More sunshine to come in Poland, Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland.
A fine day for Italy with sunshine here throughout the day. A few showers over Italy, these generally scattered. Rain could affect the west and north of Turkey, with eastern areas being drier with sunny spells. Cloud and rain over Bulgaria and Romania.
To the north there will be cloud and some outbreaks of rain in the Baltic States, heavier showers over Finland. Hazy spells of sunshine for Sweden and Denmark, with some drizzle for western parts of Norway.
