Today
A warm day across Iberia today but hotter in the south of Spain. Mostly a fine day but just the odd shower in the south. Warmer too across into France with lots of dry, sunny weather to be found. In fact high pressure will extend this spell of fine, settled weather right across Belgium, Holland, Germany and into Poland and The Baltic States as well but a bit cooler the further east you go. Still some snow showers for western Norway but dry and sunny inland. Scattered rain showers though for Sweden and Denmark. Early snow clear Finland leaving a sunnier day while rain clears to snow showers across Russia. Just a few showers across Belarus with any rain clearing The Ukraine by the afternoon. A spell of wet weather is expected across Italy into the former Yugoslavia and Romania today while it's looking like a fine start to the weekend across Greece and Turkey.
Sunday

A lot of dry, sunny weather for France but a few scattered showers here as well, a few heavy in the south. For Belgium and Holland a fine, dry and mostly sunny day. Some light rain may affect Denmark with still a few snow showers for western parts of Norway and across Finland. Mostly fair and dry across Sweden. High pressure maintains to keep Germany, Poland, The Baltic States, the Ukraine, Belarus and Hungary with lots of pleasant sunshine. A cloudy day with rain and showers forecast for the former Yugoslavia, Romania and Bulgaria while Greece and Turkey look fair and dry. Much warmer across Iberia today with occasional, heavy, thundery showers developing. Hot in Seville with temperatures close to 30C.
