Warm and sunny in southern Europe, best of the sunshine here
Monday
A fine day to come across Spain and Portugal. There will be lots of warm sunshine here throughout the day. The sunshine extends into France as well where it is going to be remaining dry with more sunshine. Broken cloud in the Low Countries but dry with sunny spells. Some rain passing east through Germany, followed by showers. Heavier showers affecting Poland with some more persistent rain here too. For Hungary, Austria and Switzerland showers are expected, some of them heavy.
Italy will have a fair day apart from a few showers in the far north. More sunshine and warm weather for Greece, Crete and Cyprus, although showers in northern Turkey. Fine for Bulgaria and Romania.
To the north the Baltic States will have warm and sunny weather, this extending to Finland. Fair for Sweden with sunny spells. Some cloud and showers or rain through Denmark and the west of Norway.
Tuesday
The area of high pressure persists through Spain and Portugal today. There will be more sunshine and it is going to be staying dry. A fine day to come over France too with more sunshine. High pressure gives sunshine to the Low Countries and Germany with plenty of sunshine here. A few showers in Poland, some of them heavy in places. The showers into Austria, Hungary and Switzerland too.
For Italy the day will be dry with sunny spells and it is going to be warm. The Baltic States may have some cloud and rain later in the day with rain also moving into Finland. Fair in the south of Norway although cloud and rain to the north with some more outbreaks of showery rain in Norway.
