A brief spell of unsettled weather in the Mediterranean and France, improving from the west
Tuesday
A fair day to come across much of Portugal and Spain with spells of sunshine. High cloud over eastern Spain and the Balearics bringing hazy spells of sunshine. A fine and warm day across France with more sunshine to come here, and staying dry too. A dry and warm day across the Low Countries too as well as Germany. More sunshine to come in Poland, Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland.
A fine day for Italy with sunshine here throughout the day. A few showers over Italy, these generally scattered. Rain could affect the west and north of Turkey, with eastern areas being drier with sunny spells. Cloud and rain over Bulgaria and Romania.
To the north there will be cloud and some outbreaks of rain in the Baltic States, heavier showers over Finland. Hazy spells of sunshine for Sweden and Denmark, with some drizzle for western parts of Norway.
Wednesday
Some bits of cloud affecting Portugal and central parts of Spain today. North and south will be brighter and sunny. Unsettled through France with some showery bursts of rain here, some of them heavy in the north. Cloud and rain will be troubling the Low Countries as well with dry weather and bright conditions for Germany and Poland. Most of Hungary and Austria will be staying dry with some sunny spells to come here through the day. Fair for Switzerland as well.
A fine day to come for Italy with good spells of sunshine here. There will be more sunshine for Greece and Turkey, although some showers affecting Bulgaria and Romania.
Across the Baltic States the day should be fine with sunny spells, although cloud and heavy showers affecting Finland. Sweden should be fair with sunshine and staying sunny and warm in Denmark too. Cloud and some rain affecting the far west of Sweden, but elsewhere it should be dry with sunny spells.
