Today
High pressure is now building in across western Europe. Lots of fine, dry and sunny weather will prevail across the United Kingdom into Germany, Holland, Belgium and France and quite warm and sunny into Portugal and Spain. Dry as well for the Balearics with an area of rain and showers across Corsica, Sardinia and the far south of Italy. Dry and sunnier across the rest of Italy. Expect a few scattered showers across the former Yugoslavia with dry, sunny weather into Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria and the Ukraine. Cold but mainly dry for Norway with sunny spells through Sweden. An area of heavy rain will affect Finland and the Baltic Stales today with a few showers for parts of Poland and Belarus.

Dry, mild and mostly sunny weather will prevail from the across Britain into France, Belgium, Holland and Denmark today. The high pressure associated with this will also give Norway a dry, sunny day too. For Spain and Portugal lots of sunshine today and warm in the south with temperatures into the mid twenties. Across Germany, Poland and the Alpine Region expect a mixture of sunshine and showers. Some rain today for Sweden and Finland but should be quite light. Rain and showers to come for The Baltic States with heavy showers and rain across Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, the former Yugoslavia and Greece. Fine today with sunny spells for Turkey, The Ukraine and Russia. Some rain to come across Italy today but fine and sunny across Corsica, Sardinia across into the Balearics.
