Fine across eastern Med
Today
The fine, dry weather continues across the United Kingdom today. Across France a few showers will develop with an area of heavy showers and rain across Germany. Persistent and heavy rain will fall across Hungary into the Serbia and Croatia today with light rain into Bulgaria and Albania. Fair and dry today across Greece with a fine, sunny day across Turkey. A colder day across Scandinavia but sunny weather is expected across Norway and Sweden. Cloudier for Finland with some snow in the north. Apart from the odd shower expect sunny spells for Russia with lots of sunshine for the Baltic Stales and Poland. For Belgium, Holland and Denmark it also looks fine, dry and mostly sunny. More cloudy across Portugal and Spain today with some light rain and showers but lots of sunshine across the Balearics into Corsica and Sardinia while rain fall across a cloudy Italy.
Wednesday
A miserable day across Portugal and Spain with heavy rain and some heavy showers. Just a few sharp showers across northern France today with the south fine and dry with sunny spells. Dry as well across The Low Countries into Denmark, northern Germany and Poland with good sunny intervals. Heavy rain to come in the south of the south of Germany. Still rather cold across Scandinavia and dry with good sunny spells. Look for some heavy showers today across the Alpine Region with rain across Hungary and Romania and lots of showers into the former Yugoslavia and Bulgaria. Continued fine and dry through Turkey and Greece and north across the Ukraine. Occasional showers will fall across Belarus and Russia with a dry, sunny day for the Baltic States. Another cloudy day to come across Italy with some patchy rain and light showers.
