Heavy showers in Portugal, fair eastern Mediterranean
Friday
An unsettled and windy day to come across Portugal with some heavy showers. These showers affecting the south of Spain as well, with some patchy cloud and outbreaks of rain to the north too. Fair and cool across France with sunny spells and mainly dry. Cold too through the Low Countries and remaining dry here with sunny spells. mainly fair for Germany too with some more sunshine here, but cloud and some showery rain for Poland. Hungary and Austria have cloud and a few spots of rain, but dry with sunny spells in Switzerland.
Italy will have a fair day with sunny spells and dry conditions as well. Greece should remain dry with more spells of sunshine throughout, and the weather should be remaining fair through Cyprus as well. For Crete the day is dry with more sunshine, and this sunshine extends into Turkey as well. Bulgaria and Romania have cloud and some outbreaks of rain.
To the north it is going to be feeling cold through the Baltic States and Finland with showers and rain here. More cloud and some rain to come in Finland. Cloud and some rain over southeast Sweden, but dry with sunshine elsewhere. A fair day for Denmark and Norway with sunny spells, although rain in western Norway later.
Saturday
Heavy showers for Portugal again today, although these not as persistent as Friday. Further heavy showers over central and southern parts of Spain, and generally dry to the north. A cold day to come across France with sunny spells. Fair for the Low Countries and Germany with plenty of sunshine and dry weather here. It is going to be dry too through Poland with more sunshine to come. Fair across Hungary, Austria and Switzerland with sunny spells and dry weather here throughout the day.
Italy will have some cloud and dry conditions, although there will be a few sunny spells around as well. Fair weather across most of Greece and Crete, plenty of sunshine and warm weather over Cyprus and Turkey. Bulgaria and Romania will be rather cloudy with the risk of some spots of rain.
Finland becomes more breezy with cloud and rain spreading from the west, some of this becoming heavy at times. More cloud and periods of rain for the Baltic States too. The cloud and outbreaks of rain and strong winds affecting the southern half of Sweden, with Denmark having broken cloud but mainly dry conditions and fairly breezy too. Cloud and rain over southern Norway, although some sunshine to the north.
