Today
A fine, dry day with sunny spells across Britain today and this dry weather stretches across into northern France into Belgium, Germany and Holland. Some heavy showers are forecast across south western France with northern and eastern areas fair and dry. Warmer here as well. Expect sunny spells and a few showers across Denmark and Sweden today with snow showers expected for western parts of Norway. Largely dry today but cloudy across Finland. Snows showers are in the forecast across the Baltic Stales with an area of rain moving through Russia. Look out for some heavy showers for Belarus with snow showers in the north. Showers too will affect the Ukraine. With low pressure near by, it's a very unsettled and showery day to come across Portugal and Spain with frequent and heavy showers with scattered thunderstorms. More persistent rain is forecast from the Balearics across Corsica into Sardinia and Italy. Some rain too spreads in across Bosnia, Croatia and Serbia. Sunny skies will prevail across Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey.

The fine weather remains across Britain will continue today. Lots of sunshine to come here and into northern France into the Low Counties into Holland, Germany and Poland. Southern France will have a good deal of dry weather with just a few scattered showers. The cold weather hangs on across Scandinavia with snow expected across Norway and Finland but rain is forecast for Sweden. Rain and snow is expected across Russia with rain showers across the Baltic States into Belarus. Mainly dry today but cloudy for Hungary and Romania. An area of rain will lie from Corsica, Sardinia into Italy and into the former Yugoslavia. More cloudy today across Greece and Turkey but dry. Warmer and drier across Portugal and Spain today with sunnier spells and just a few showers. Early rain soon clears to sunny spells through the Balearics. A wet day to come across Switzerland and Austria with spells of heavy rain.
