Thursday
Another very warm day to come across Spain and Portugal. Lots of sunshine here and remaining fine throughout the day. A few showers could affect western France, otherwise the day here is going to be fine and sunny with lots of sunshine once again. Showers affecting the Low Countries, but then fair throughout Germany and Poland with more sunshine here. There will be dry weather and sunshine in Austria, Hungary and Switzerland too.
Lots of sunshine across Italy and very warm. The sunshine continues for Greece and Turkey as well as Cyprus and Crete. Fine for Bulgaria and Romania.
To the north cloud and wind will affect Finland bringing showers or longer spells of rain here. More cloud and some rain in Finland with the south of Norway being cloudy and rather showery. Sweden could be fairly wet through the day with some showery rain for Denmark.
Friday
A change taking place through Iberia today as a series of fronts advance from the west. These bring rain to Portugal and then heavy showers through Spain. There will be some rain lying across central France and this may turn heavy. To the south it stays warm and dry, whilst to the north it is cooler with sunny spells. The Low Countries are dry with hazy sunshine and it is going to be dry with some sunny spells in Germany. Some cloud and rain for southern Poland, but sunny spells to the north. Fair across Austria and Hungary, but some showers in Switzerland.
Highs pressure is going to retain the fine weather for Italy with plenty of sunshine to come here. More sunshine for Greece, although the threat of a heavy shower too. Some showers and rain will be affecting Turkey and these could be heavy. Romania and Bulgaria stay dry with lots of sunshine.
For the Baltic States the day will be showery, and those showers could be heavy at times. Rain, some heavy with strong winds for Finland. Norway and Sweden will be unsettled with heavy showers or longer spells of rain, some of these heading into Denmark.
