Snow across Scandinavia
Today
A warm day across central parts of Europe today. And here it should be a fine, summery type of day across Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia into Hungary, Bulgaria the Ukraine and south into Greece and Turkey as high pressure dominates. An area of rain lies across England some of it will be heavy Another areas of rain will fall across Sweden into southern Finland into Russia, the Baltic States into Denmark while lots of showers are expected across Germany and Poland along with a few sunnier spells. Early rain should soon clear the Low Countries leaving a few showers. Mainly dry today across France with a few sharp showers in the south. Warm across Portugal and Spain with most parts dry with just a few showers for inland Spain. Lots of warm sunshine to come from the Balearics across into Corsica, Sardinia and Italy. Some heavy rain is expected across Switzerland and Austria. Snow showers are forecast for western parts of Norway and the north of Finland.

Lots of showers develop across England today and quite a few as well for France, some of these turning heavy in the afternoon. We can also expect a day of sunshine and showers across Belgium, Holland and the north of Germany with heavier rain across southern Germany into southern Poland and across the Alpine Region. Mainly dry for northern parts of Poland. A cold day across Norway and Sweden with rain and snow showers with heavier rain and snow across Finland/ Another area of rain will be crossing Russia with spells of rain for Belarus as well. Early rain clears the Baltic States then a dry day here. The fine, sunny and warm weather continues across the Balkans today. Lots of warm sunshine again across Portugal and Spain with just a few scattered afternoon showers. Fine into the Balearics but some light rain is possible across Corsica and Sardinia but dry and mostly sunny into mainland Italy.
