Staying disturbed in Scandinavia, with more rain in central Europe

Friday
Thunderstorms and showers breaking out over central parts of Spain today, but some good spells of sunshine elsewhere for Spain and Portugal. An area of cloud is going to be moving southwards through France bringing a few showers here, but northern and western areas will be dry with good spells of sunshine. Some broken cloud and a few showers troubling the Low Countries and northern Germany, but for most of Poland and southern Germany the day will be dry and sunny. Cloud and some heavy showers through Austria and Hungary with fine weather to come over Switzerland as well.
Northern Italy is going to have some showers, and these could be heavy, but for most of the country the day is going to be fine and dry with plenty of sunshine. More sunshine to come across Greece and Turkey as well as Crete and Cyprus, where the best of the sunshine will be found. There is sunshine too across Bulgaria and Romania.
To the north the Baltic States should be mainly dry, although some rain could affect western parts of Finland. For most of Sweden it is a cloud and unsettled day with spells of rain, although heavy showers and wind affect Denmark and Norway.

Saturday
Sunny spells and dry through Iberia today. The best of the sunshine across southern parts of Spain, just a few showers affecting northern coasts. There will be some heavy showers across mid and northern France, but to the south they should be more scattered. A mix of sunny spells and isolated showers for the Low Countries, northern Germany and Poland, but the south of these countries should stay fair and sunny. Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland should be cloudy with a few outbreaks of rain.
For Italy the day is going to be be right with sunny spells, although there could be a few showers in the west later. For Greece there will be lots of sunshine and very warm conditions. Heavy showers developing across Turkey bringing the risk of some thunderstorms here. A fine day over Bulgaria and Romania and staying fair as well.
For the Baltic States there will be cloud and periods of rain. This rain extends through Finland, and it could be heavy here at times. More cloud and rain in eastern Sweden with showers following to the west. The showers could be heavy and prolonged over southern Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
