Hot for southern and central Europe

Saturday
Some very warm weather across Portugal and Spain with heavy thundery showers forming, especially across the north of the country. Staying very warm through France with more sunshine. This sunshine extending through the Low Countries and into Germany and Poland. Warm too for Austria, Hungary and Switzerland with more sunshine to come here.
Warm and sunny through Italy and dry too. Heavy showers could affect Greece with the risk of thunderstorms. These showers and thunderstorms affecting western parts of Turkey. More showers affecting Bulgaria and Romania, these heavy at times.
A cooler day for the Baltic States with showers through Finland, some sunny spells here too. Sunny spells and showers for Sweden. The showers affecting Norway, although Denmark should be staying dry.

Thundery showers over inland areas through today, although there will be sunny spells and warm conditions. Heavy showers affecting the west of France, with a risk of thunderstorms here. Drier weather for central and eastern France with good spells of sunshine. More dry weather and sunny spells for the Low Countries and Germany as well as Poland. Very warm for Austria, Hungary and Switzerland with sunny spells.
Fine with plenty of sunshine for Italy and very warm here too. Remaining fair through Greece with more sunshine here, although there will be some heavy showers for Turkey. Further heavy showers across Bulgaria and Romania.
Showers for the Baltic States whilst Finland is dry with plenty of sunshine. Norway and Sweden as well as Denmark will be dry with lots of sunshine and only light winds.
