More heavy rain affecting southeast France
Saturday
Sunny spells and dry through Iberia today. The best of the sunshine across southern parts of Spain, just a few showers affecting northern coasts. There will be some heavy showers across mid and northern France, but to the south they should be more scattered. A mix of sunny spells and isolated showers for the Low Countries, northern Germany and Poland, but the south of these countries should stay fair and sunny. Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland should be cloudy with a few outbreaks of rain.
For Italy the day is going to be be right with sunny spells, although there could be a few showers in the west later. For Greece there will be lots of sunshine and very warm conditions. Heavy showers developing across Turkey bringing the risk of some thunderstorms here. A fine day over Bulgaria and Romania and staying fair as well.
For the Baltic States there will be cloud and periods of rain. This rain extends through Finland, and it could be heavy here at times. More cloud and rain in eastern Sweden with showers following to the west. The showers could be heavy and prolonged over southern Sweden, Denmark and Norway.

A bright day with sunny spells for much of Spain and Portugal. There is the threat of some showers through more northern parts of Spain, and these could be heavy. For France the day is going to be a bright one with some sunny spells, but the risk of some heavy showers, rain and strong winds in the southeast. again. More sunny spells and generally dry conditions for the Low Countries and Germany as well as Poland. Cloud and some spots of rain for Hungary, Austria and Poland.
A deep area of low pressure over northwest Italy brings wet weather here, with some very heavy rain in the north. Heavy showers elsewhere, most to the west with more southern areas generally dry. Greece will have a mainly dry day with some warm sunshine. This extends through Crete and Cyprus as well as Turkey. Fine generally for Bulgaria and Romania with more sunshine here.
To the north and the Baltic States should be bright with some sunny spells, as well be Finland, although there could be cloud and some rain in the north. Heavy showers or longer spells of rain for Norway, whilst Denmark and Sweden should be fair with some sunny spells.
