Showers the Balkans, Italy
Today
Very warm and sunny across the United Kingdom today and it's the same across the channel into Belgium, Holland, Denmark into Germany. Sunny, warm weather will also prevail across Poland into the Baltic States, Belarus and up into Finland, Sweden and Norway. Just a few showers across France but lots of warm sunshine as well. Heavy showers are forecast across Russia today and these extend down into the Ukraine, into the former Yugoslavia, Romania and Bulgaria. Fine and sunny into Greece and much of Turkey today. Northern parts of Spain may catch a shower but for much of Portugal and Spain it's sunny and hot. Sunny as well across the Balearics into Sardinia and Corsica but it's a day of sunshine and showers for Italy. Heavy showers too to come across the Alpine Region with thunder.
Monday
Continued very warm and sunny across England today. Very warm as well across France but lots of heavy showers with scattered thunderstorms are forecast to develop during the day. These will be interspersed with sunny spells. Some of these heavy showers will also affect Switzerland. A few showers may also be found across Belgium. Lots of very warn sunshine though for Holland, Denmark, Germany right across into Poland, The Baltic States, Belarus and Russia. It's a day of sunshine and showers across Norway but a fine, dry day to come across Sweden and Finland. Another hot dry day to come across Portugal, Spain into the Balearics. Lots of sunshine too for Italy with a few scattered afternoon showers. The showers will be more numerous across the former Yugoslavia, Romania, Bulgaria and Albania while it stays fine and sunny across Greece and much of Turkey.
