Hot and sunny in the Mediterranean with showers across northern Europe

Wednesday
A risk of an odd thundery shower across central parts of Iberia today. Generally though it should stay fine and sunny throughout the day. More sunshine over southern parts of France, but some thundery showers in more central and northern areas. The showers passing through the Low Countries and into parts of Germany, although Poland should be fair with sunny spells. Sunny spells too for Austria, Hungary and Switzerland where it should be dry.
High pressure brings another fine day to Italy with more sunshine here. There will be further sunshine for Greece too, as well as Crete and Cyprus. Turkey has heavy showers and some of these could be thundery at times inland. The thundery showers affecting Bulgaria and Romania too.
Further north thunderstorms and showers in the Baltic States, with some rain for western parts of Finland. Sweden is going to be dry with sunshine and the fair weather affects Denmark too. A few showers for Norway.

Thursday
Another warm day to come across Spain and Portugal. There will be plenty of sunshine through all places, and this sunshine and hot weather extends into France. There will be mainly dry weather for the Low Countries too as well as most of Germany. A few showers affecting Poland, and these may be heavy. Fine through Hungary, Switzerland and Austria with some good spells of sunshine to come here.
Italy has a fine day with lots of sunshine and feeling very warm too. More sunshine to come through Greece and Turkey where it is going to be very hot. Staying dry and hot over Bulgaria and Romania with lots of sunshine here.
The Baltic States will have plenty of sunshine and dry weather, and it should remain dry through Finland as well with more sunshine to come here. Fine and dry over the northern half of Norway, but some showers and rain into southern Sweden and Norway. Denmark will become brighter with sunny spells and a scattering of showers.
