Fine and hot in southern Europe, but some cloud and rain to the north

Monday
High pressure remains trough Spain and Portugal bringing dry weather and lots of sunshine to all areas. More sunshine for France and it will be dry here as well as very warm. Fair conditions and sunshine for the Low Countries, with the conditions remaining fair through Germany and Poland too. Austria will be fair with more sunshine here, and these fine conditions extending through Switzerland and into Austria too.
Plenty of sunshine and very warm weather again today in Rome. This fair weather extending through Greece, Crete and Turkey with more sunshine to come. The sunshine extends through Bulgaria and Romania and it stays dry here throughout the day.
Cloud and periods of rain through the Baltic States and Finland, some of these heavy at times. There will be more sunshine to come over Sweden and it should be dry here too. Fair over Denmark with lots of sunshine, although cloud and showers moving through Norway, some of them heavy at times.

Tuesday
Tuesday sees another very hot day across Iberia and Spain. Lots of sunshine here. This sunshine and very warm weather extending into France and the Low Countries, where there could be a few showers. Germany should be dry with sunny spells, although thundery showers affecting Poland. Hungary will have some broken cloud, but mainly dry conditions, whilst Austria and Switzerland stay dry with sunny spells.
Very warm across Italy with sunny spells, and just a few showers across high ground. Greece is going to be dry with sunny spells and very warm as well. More sunshine for Turkey and hot too, although the risk of afternoon thunderstorms. To the north Bulgaria and Romania will be mainly dry with sunny spells, although a few thunderstorms could break out.
High pressure over the Baltic States will bring dry weather here with long spells of sunshine. A few showers may break out in Finland and these could be heavy at times. Across Sweden the weather will be largely fine with sunny spells. Norway will be cloudier with some spots of light rain, although Denmark should be dry with good spells of sunshine.
