Very hot across Spain

Today
Some heavy showers and thunderstorms showers to come across England today. Mainly dry and warm across Belgium, Holland and Denmark today but across Germany lots of cloud and showery outbreaks of rain, some of it may be heavy with a risk of thunder. A dry, sunny day across Norway and much of Sweden today while lots of heavy showers to come across Finland. A few showers too across the south of France but for much of France it looks mainly dry. Sunny across Russia, the Baltic States and down into Belarus, into Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey. Just a few well scattered shower develop across the former Yugoslavia today with sunny spells. Across the Mediterranean into Italy we can expect a fine, very warm summer's day. Very hot, sunny weather continues across Portugal and Spain. Some thunderstorms are likely to affect Austria and Switzerland today.

Friday
A mostly fine, dry day to come across Britain on Friday with sunny spells. Most of France too looks dry and warm, just the odd shower in the north east and south east. Look out for some heavy showers with a risk of a few thundery ones for Belgium and Holland. Thundery rain will affect southern Germany and the Alpine Region with northern Germany have some heavy showers. With high pressure across eastern Europe we can expect a good deal of dry, settled weather across Russia into the Baltic States, Poland, Hungary, Belarus, The Ukraine southward into Romania, into the former Yugoslavia and Bulgaria. Very warm and sunny across into Greece, Turkey and into Italy. The hot, sunny weather continues across Spain and Portugal and across into the Balearics. Lots of cloud across Scandinavia with showers across Norway and southern parts of Sweden and Finland.
