More sunshine for southern Europe, but rain in the north
Tuesday
A fine summers day across Spain and Portugal. Plenty of sunshine throughout the day and feeling very warm too. More sunshine to come across southern parts of France, although to the north there is a risk of some showers. Cloud and some drizzle affecting northern coasts of the Low Countries and Germany. Fair for Poland with sunny spells. The risk of some heavy and thundery showers over Hungary. Austria and Switzerland.
Northern parts of Italy could have a few heavy showers, but for the majority of the country it is going to be fine with sunny spells. More sunshine throughout across Greece and Turkey, with the weather staying warm and sunny over Bulgaria and Romania.
To the north cloud and some showery rain affects the Baltic States and western Finland, but the east will be dry. A fair day for Sweden with sunny spells here. Fine too for Denmark, although increasing cloud and some rain over western Sweden.
Wednesday
Plenty of sunshine for Spain and Portugal and feeling very warm again. Plenty of sunshine again for France, although there could be some cloud in the far northeast. A few showers in the Low Countries as a band of rain moves through Germany and into western Poland. Showers over Hungary and Austria with Switzerland being dry with sunny spells.
High pressure brings plenty of sunshine for Italy. Fine and sunny in Greece. Crete, Cyprus and Turkey. Some heavy showers in Bulgaria and Romania with thunderstorms here.
Scattered showers across the Baltic States and some may be heavy. Showers in western Finland. Fine for Sweden with plenty of sunny spells. A band of cloud and rain over Denmark and Norway, most of it light.
