Hot and sunny over southern Europe, but cloud and rain to the north
Tuesday
Tuesday sees another very hot day across Iberia and Spain. Lots of sunshine here. This sunshine and very warm weather extending into France and the Low Countries, where there could be a few showers. Germany should be dry with sunny spells, although thundery showers affecting Poland. Hungary will have some broken cloud, but mainly dry conditions, whilst Austria and Switzerland stay dry with sunny spells.
Very warm across Italy with sunny spells, and just a few showers across high ground. Greece is going to be dry with sunny spells and very warm as well. More sunshine for Turkey and hot too, although the risk of afternoon thunderstorms. To the north Bulgaria and Romania will be mainly dry with sunny spells, although a few thunderstorms could break out.
High pressure over the Baltic States will bring dry weather here with long spells of sunshine. A few showers may break out in Finland and these could be heavy at times. Across Sweden the weather will be largely fine with sunny spells. Norway will be cloudier with some spots of light rain, although Denmark should be dry with good spells of sunshine.
Wednesday
There could be some thundery showers over inland parts of Iberia through today. Generally it will be dry with lots of sunshine through most places. heavy showers and thunderstorms over northern and western parts of France, with the south being dry with some sunny spells here. Showers or rain and thunderstorms over the Low Countries, these showers reaching western Germany later. Eastern parts of Germany and the whole of Poland will be dry with sunny spells. Fair for Hungary, Austria and Switzerland.
Fine for Italy with lots of sunshine to come. There will be more sunshine across Greece and Turkey and it is going to hot here as well. Through Bulgaria and Romania it will be dry and sunny as well as very warm or even hot.
To the north the Baltic States will be dry and sunny as well as warm. Hazy sunshine through Finland and dry here as well. Sweden should be dry with sunny spells and will be dry, although more cloud to the north. Fine through Denmark with sunny spells, although some showers here later. Cloud, rain and rather misty for Norway.
