Head south for the sunshine and warmth
Friday
A hot day again over Spain and Portugal with plenty of sunshine. More sunshine over France and warm again too. Staying fine through the Low Countries and Germany as well as Poland with more sunshine here. There will be some cloud and rain over Hungary with Austria and Switzerland being dry with some sunny spells.
Cloudier skies across northern parts of Italy today. A few thundery showers could be developing through central and southern parts of Italy. Greece is likely to be dry with good spells of sunshine throughout the day here. There will be more sunshine for Turkey, this extending into Bulgaria and Romania.
Staying unsettled over the Baltic States with more showers here, and some of these may be heavy. Further cloud and showers for Finland, with more persistent rain across much of Sweden. Norway sees some showers, a few of them heavy and these will be spreading through Sweden too.
Saturday
Another hot day to come for Iberia; Spain and Portugal both experiencing lots of sunshine and hot temperatures. It is going to be fine across France too with plenty of sunshine here. Some cloud and showers affecting the north of the country, and these showers moving into the Low Countries in the afternoon. Germany is going to be fine with lots of sunshine here, and this extends throughout Poland too. Austria should be fine with sunny spells, and this sunshine extends to Switzerland and Austria.
Italy is set to have a finer day. Plenty of sunshine throughout the day here and very warm as well. More sunshine to come through Greece and Turkey with temperatures soaring. Staying fine and sunny across Bulgaria and Romania.
The Baltic States will have some showery rain through the morning, this slowly clearing eastwards away from Finland, to leave sunny spells and showers. A few heavy showers over Sweden, with more persistent rain through Denmark and the south of Norway.
