Hot across Spain
Today
Hot, sunny weather will prevail across Portugal and Spain and across into the Balearics as well. More unsettled today with showers developing across northern parts of Italy. For Belgium and Holland it looks like a day of sunshine and scattered showers. Mostly fine with sunny spells for France though one or two showers may affect the north. Lots of heavy showers to come today across Germany and these will stretch north in Sweden and south across The Alpine Region with a risk of thunder. A fine day to come across the former Yugoslavia and Romania. Dry weather and it's to be very warm to very hot across Russia into the Baltic States, Belarus into the Ukraine. Sunny and very warm as well across Greece and Turkey. For Norway and Finland high pressure will give all parts a dry, mostly sunny day.

More showers will affect England today. A largely dry day with sunny spells across France with more cloud and a few showers across Belgium and Holland. Lots of fine, dry sunny weather is expected across Finland, into Russia, The Baltic States, into Poland and Belarus. Lots of heavy showers are likely across Germany and across Austria into Hungary, some thundery. Dry with sunny intervals across Poland with hot, sunny conditions for the Ukraine, into the former Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey. A fine day to come across the southern half of Italy but in the north expect some heavy showers and some sunshine as well. Across Corsica and Sardinia a fine, sunny warm day and this extends west across the Balearics. A very hot sunny day is expected across Spain and Portugal. Rain will fall across Norway today with a few showers for Sweden and Finland.
