Hot and sunny across Iberia
Today
A number of will affect England today. A largely dry day with sunny spells across France with more cloud and a few showers across Belgium and Holland. Lots of fine, dry sunny weather is expected across Finland, into Russia, The Baltic States, into Poland and Belarus. Lots of heavy showers are likely across Germany and across Austria into Hungary, some thundery. Dry with sunny intervals across Poland with hot, sunny conditions for the Ukraine, into the former Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey. A fine day to come across the southern half of Italy but in the north expect some heavy showers and some sunshine as well. Across Corsica and Sardinia a fine, sunny warm day and this extends west across the Balearics. A very hot sunny day is expected across Spain and Portugal. Rain will fall across Norway today with a few showers for Sweden and Finland.

Still quite a few showers to come across Britain today and these will also develop quite widely across France, many turning heavy with a risk of thunder across France. For Belgium, Holland and much of Norway it's a fine, dry day with sunny spells. Heavier rain will affect Austria, Switzerland and the far north of Italy with southern and central parts of Italy dry and sunny. Heavy showery rain will fall across Denmark into Sweden with sunny spells and just a few showers across Finland. High pressure across eastern Europe will give Russia, The Baltic States, Belarus, Germany, Hungary, Romania, the former Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey a fine, very warm and sunny day. Hot though across Russia. Much of Spain and Portugal will be sunny and dry though the odd shower may affect the east of Spain. Sunny into the Balearics with just a few showers around Corsica and Sardinia.
