Fine across the Mediterranean

Today
A dry day for the United Kingdom today. Much more unsettled across the channel into France, Belgium, Holland and Germany with heavy, frequent showers and outbreaks of rain, even some thunder storms possible. These will also affect much of Switzerland today with a dry day across Austria and Hungary. We have high pressure across north east Europe today so for Norway, Finland and Sweden it looks sunny and dry. Mainly dry as well across Russia and still hot here. Lots over very warm sunshine will also be found across The Baltic States into Poland, Belarus and southward to the Mediterranean into Bulgaria, the Ukraine, the former Yugoslavia, Greece and Turkey. For all of Italy expect a warm, sunny day and this extends across into the Balearics, Spain and Portugal.

Monday
A fine, warm and sunny day expected across England today. Much of France too looks that way but some heavy rain will be in the far east and it remains very unsettled and wet across Germany, the Low Countries into Denmark and The Alpine Region with showers and longer spells of rain. With that strong cell of high pressure in charge. All of Scandinavia into Russia, the Baltic States, Belarus into Poland and The Ukraine. Just a few showers develop across Hungary today but mainly dry. Lots of very warm and sunny weather to come across Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Greece and Turkey. Fine and sunny as well across Italy and much of Spain and Portugal except for a few showers still for eastern Spain.
