Hot and sunny for the Mediterranean, but unsettled to the north
Tuesday
Another hot and sunny day to come across Spain and Portugal. This sunshine extending into southern France where it is going to be hot through the day. More cloud to the north bringing some rain here, some of it heavy in the northwest. Cloud and a few showers for the Low Countries, but heavier rain and cloud affecting the north of Germany. Showers in Poland may become heavy while Hungary, Switzerland and Austria stay dry.
Italy is going to be fine with lots of sunshine through today. More sunshine across Greece and most of Turkey, although there will be some heavy showers over the inland hills of Turkey. Bulgaria and Romania should be dry overall although there is the chance of some storms to the west.
Low pressure to the north bringing some cloud and rain through the Baltic States, with some cloud in Finland too. More cloud and rain for the south of Sweden, where some of the rain may be heavy. Cloud and rain for Denmark and southern Norway, but fair to the north.
Wednesday
Hot again for most of Spain and Portugal, although across the north of Spain there will be cloud with some showery rain. This rain and showers extending through central parts of France, with heavy showers in the northeast of France. These heavy showers affecting the Low Countries and Germany, as well as Poland; windy in these countries too. More showers to come through Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland.
High pressure brings fine weather to Italy and it will be dry here as well. A fine day over Turkey with some heavy showers inland. Fine for Bulgaria and Romania.
Cloud and some rain for the Baltic States, mainly dry with some sunshine in Finland. Cloud and rain again for southern Sweden and there will be some more cloud and rain in the south of Norway too.
