Heavy showers for Iberia, but fair across much of the east
Wednesday
Hot again for most of Spain and Portugal, although across the north of Spain there will be cloud with some showery rain. This rain and showers extending through central parts of France, with heavy showers in the northeast of France. These heavy showers affecting the Low Countries and Germany, as well as Poland; windy in these countries too. More showers to come through Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland.
High pressure brings fine weather to Italy and it will be dry here as well. A fine day over Turkey with some heavy showers inland. Fine for Bulgaria and Romania.
Cloud and some rain for the Baltic States, mainly dry with some sunshine in Finland. Cloud and rain again for southern Sweden and there will be some more cloud and rain in the south of Norway too.

Heavy showers could develop over Spain and Portugal today. These could be heavy, especially in the east, the heavy showers extending to the Balearics too. High pressure holds through France bringing more sunshine here, although some cloud and drizzle affects the northwest. The Low Countries should be dry and fine and it should be fair through Germany too. Poland will be breezy with some sunshine whilst showers affect Hungary. Heavy showers for Austria and Switzerland.
For northern Italy there will be heavy showers, but central and southern areas should be dry with some sunny spells. Greece and Turkey should be dry with sunny spells and this sunshine extends into Bulgaria and Romania.
The Baltic States will have cloud and rain, some of it heavy with some strong winds as well. More wind through Finland and some cloud here as well. Further cloud and periods of rain across southern Norway, but the north will be dry. Some cloud and showers for Denmark and southern Norway, the north being dry with more sunny spells.
