Heavy showers in the east
Today
It's sunshine and showers across Britain today. A better day across France with far fewer showers and more in the way of sunshine. Fine and sunny too across Belgium, Holland and Germany. Heavy spells of rain will fall across Norway, Sweden and Finland. Heavy showers and thunderstorms will affect the Alpine Region today. Lots of showers continue across Russia today and these will also be found across the Baltic States into eastern parts of Poland. Fine and dry across western Poland. The fine spells of dry, sunny weather will continue for the Ukraine, into Romania, the former Yugoslavia into Greece and Turkey. A hot sunny day for Spain into the Balearics and across into Italy as well.
Wednesday
Heavy rain and gusty winds spread into England during the day. For France, Holland, Belgium and Germany it remains fine and dry with lots of warm sunshine on offer. A hot, sunny day again across Portugal and Spain. Expect a few showers across Denmark with much more in the way of showers expected across Norway and Sweden and across Finland, the Baltic States and Russia, these showers will be frequent and heavy with thunderstorms. Mostly dry and sunny for Poland but a few showers around the northern coast. One or two showers to come across the Alpine Region today. For Hungary, The Ukraine, Romania into Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey the extended spell of fine, summery weather continues with a dry, sunny day to come. Lots of dry, sunny through Italy and across the Mediterranean into Spain and Portugal.
