Hot and sunny south, but more rain to the north

Wednesday
A fine day through Spain and Portugal. Plenty of sunshine here throughout the day and very warm once again as well. It stays fine for the south of France, although to the northwest there will be cloud and periods of rain. The rain heavy at times. The Low Countries and Germany should be fine with more sunshine here, although some showers affecting the north of Poland. Austria should be fine with sunny spells and it should be a fair day for Hungary and Switzerland.
For Italy it will be a dry day with sunny spells. Hot to the south, and this hot weather extending through Greece as well. More sunshine to come for Cyprus and Crete as well as Turkey. Hot and sunny across Bulgaria and Romania.
To the north there will be strong winds and some heavy showers in the Baltic States, and staying showery through Finland. More strong winds, rain and showers for Sweden, and some showers for Denmark. The showers affecting western Norway as well.

Thursday
Plenty of sunshine again today for Spain and Portugal. Southern France should be dry, sunny and warm, although to the north there will be some cloud and outbreaks of rain. The heaviest of the rain, together with some strong winds will be affecting the Low Countries, and this rain penetrates east to Germany and Poland. Mainly fine for most of Hungary, Austria and Switzerland.
A fine day to come across the whole of Italy thanks to an area of high pressure which extends throughout the country. More sunshine to come for Greece and Turkey, with the fine weather extending to Bulgaria and Romania.
Low pressure dominates over the Baltic States bringing cloud and rain here, with some cloud and showery rain for Sweden too. Mainly fair in Denmark, but a few showers to come for Norway.
