Rain in the central Mediterranean, fine to the north

Friday
A fair day over Spain and Portugal. Good spells of sunshine but a few showers could form over the mountains inland. France should be dry with sunny spells and it is going to be dry too. More sunshine through the Low Countries and Germany with lots of sunshine to come here. More sunshine too over Poland and very warm. A few thundery showers over Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland.
A fair day over the north of Italy, but central and southern areas of the country will be cloudy and wet with some heavy periods of rain. Heavy showers may affect central parts of Greece, although coastal areas should be dry with sunny spells. More sunshine and warm conditions over Turkey, although there could be a shower inland. Bulgaria and Romania should be dry with sunny spells.
To the north low pressure brings strong winds and heavy showers across Finland and the Baltic States. A few showers for eastern parts of Sweden, but for most of the country it should be dry with sunny spells. More sunshine and dry weather for Norway with more sunshine to come here.

Saturday
A fair day to come over all parts of Spain and Portugal. There will be some good spells of sunshine here throughout the day. More sunshine for France, although this hazy in the east. The Low Countries and most of Germany should be dry too with some sunny spells here, although a few heavy showers could affect northeast Germany and the north of Poland. Hungary, Austria and Switzerland will have cloud and some spots of rain.
Most of Italy will be dry with sunny spells. Thicker cloud over the far south of Italy bringing some spots of rain here. Greece should be dry with sunny spells and it will be remaining dry through Crete, Cyprus and Turkey. Fair for Bulgaria and Romania with some more sunshine here.
An area of showery rain spreads south through Finland and into the Baltic States. High pressure brings a fine day through Norway and Sweden as well as Denmark.
