Staying settled across western and eastern Europe

Today
Very windy across Britain today with scattered showers. An area of rain will lie from Hungary across southern Germany into northern France. Southern France looks sunny and dry while a number of heavy showers affect Belgium, Holland, Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Mainly dry across northern Germany with rain and showers across Poland. Another area of heavy rain will lie across Finland into the Baltic States and Belarus. High pressure maintains across eastern Europe today. A dry day with good sunny spells across The Ukraine into Romania, the former Yugoslavia into Greece and Turkey. Lots of fine sunny weather prevails from Portugal across Spain into the Balearics into Italy.

A more cloudy day to come across Portugal and Spain with a few heavy showers. Fair and dry across the Balearics into Corsica and Sardinia. Lots of fine sunshine today across Italy into the former Yugoslavia, Greece and Turkey. This fine, dry and sunny weather is to extend across Bulgaria into Romania and the Ukraine as well. Northern Europe is looking very unsettled. Windy across England again with showers. Showers too are forecast for Belgium, Holland, Denmark and northern Germany with some heavy ones across the Alpine Region. Windy across Scandinavia with lots of heavy showers for Norway and Sweden with rain across Finland andRussia Fine across southern Germany into Hungary while look for showers today across Poland with some sunshine too. Rather wet and windy across the Baltic States today.
