Rain in northwestern areas but fine through the Mediterranean

Thursday
Some cloud and a few showers in western parts of Portugal and the northwest of Spain today. There will be some cloud and showery rain over northwest France too, although the rest of the country is going to be fine with lots of sunshine. There will be some cloud and patchy rain in the Low Countries, with Germany being dry and bright with lots of sunshine. More sunshine to come over Poland and Germany with fair weather through Austria, Hungary and Switzerland, although morning fog may be slow to clear here.
Italy will have some showers forming again, some of them heavy in the north. For Greece there could be an odd shower, but generally the day is going to be fair. Some showers in northern Turkey, but the south should be dry with sunshine. Showers across Bulgaria and Romania, some of them heavy at times.
Over the Baltic States there will be dry weather and some good spells of sunshine. This extends through Finland bringing more fair weather here. The high pressure brings lots of autumn sunshine across Sweden and Norway and well as Denmark where it is going to be remaining dry.

Friday
A fair day for Spain and Portugal with good spells of sunshine today. The sunshine affecting southern France too but to the north there will be more cloud with outbreaks of rain. Showers affecting the Low Countries with some showery rain into the west of Germany. Most of the rest of Germany should be dry with sunny spells and this sunshine extends through Poland too. A fair day over Hungary and Austria and well as Switzerland with good spells of sunshine here.
Some heavy showers over northern parts of Italy, but central and southern areas should be dry with sunny spells. More fair weather across Greece, although some heavy showers in Turkey. More fine weather for Bulgaria and Romania with sunny spells here.
A fair day to come over the Baltic States with lots of sunshine. Staying fine for Finland with more sunshine here, and with high pressure across Sweden it will be a fair day here with lots of sunny spells.
